Elizabeth Berrien's airy, openwork wire sculpture is as GREEN and environmentally responsible as metal art can get. Consuming less than 1% of the materials of solid metal art, she creates substantial works of art from tiny amounts of wire!
Wire sculpture= 99% AIR

When possible, recycled steel, copper or aluminum wire is used to hand-twist and weave lace-like creations. The low-tech process creates such a sturdy structure that Berrien doesn't use welding equipment or release chemical emissions.
