Chinese
Dragon Mask, 30" across, mixed
media wire sculpture. Site specific work for Integral Healing Center in
northern California. This wildly colorful work uses a multitude of
miscellaneous wires that accumulated, over the years, in Elizabeth
Berrien's studio: telephone wire, electrical wire, beading wire,
plastic-coated aluminum clothesline, and some truly mysterious
foil-wrapped copper wires recycled from a department store remodel.
Over time, Elizabeth will expand on this sculpture, creating fringed
loops of dragon to writhe in and out of the center's walls.

Miz O'Hare
started life in a department store Easter display. In a fit of whimsy,
the artist set the bunny head on a dressmaker's dummy, and the
imperious Miz O'Hare was born.
Miz O'Hare has since acquired an entire wire human body. She ran away
with the circus in 2002, but returned to lounges on a trapeze in the
artist's garden (more photos soon).

Elizabeth Berrien twisted the entire sculpture, including its 17ft
