Hadley Exhibits of Buffalo, NY, requested quotes from Elizabeth Berrien for site-specific "wire and rod objects" of hawks, 15-ft bridges and vintage bikes. These 2D wire sculptures became essential interpretive elments of National Park Services' Blue Ridge Parkway Destination at Asheville, NC. During installation, Berrien was informed that requirements for the bridges had been changed - they needed to be reduced from 15ft to 13.5. The artist accomplished the emergency custom modification on-site, completing all wire and rod elements within deadline.
